Jan Harvey was very professional in her approach to her work. She was reliable, punctual and well-organised. Jan had a great understanding of the legal requirements for our marriage ceremony and be able to handle any necessary paperwork efficiently. Jan was warm and personable and made us all feel very comfortable and at ease. Jan took the time to get to know us and our story and made sure our ceremony was personal to us and our children. We would highly recommend Jan Harvey as a celebrant.

My (now) husband and I absolutely loved having Jan part of our wedding, she made it all the more special. We loved how personable and friendly she was from the very beginning. Jan has also been really flexible through the whole thing. My husband and I got engaged 3 months ago and decided to plan our wedding soon after. As you could imagine, it was quite stressful finding and coordinating everyone at short notice but Jan was amazing and jumped on board strait away. Jan found the time to come and visit us in person to talk through the process and sort out some of the documentation. We weren't the quickest in getting all our paperwork sorted but Jan was very patient and understanding with us along the way. When she visited, Jan made a point of asking us the correct pronunciation of our names, which can be particularly difficult with my husband's Hungarian name but Jan mastered it before the ceremony and said it perfectly which was so lovely and made all the difference for us. We feel privileged to have had Jan as our Celebrant and would recommend Jan to anyone on the Sunshine Coast to create a beautiful and very meaningful ceremony for your wedding day.

Jan was a dream celebrant right from the first email enquiry I sent her. We planned our wedding in just four weeks (!!!) and Jan made it all happen. Jan has excellent constant communication with no question made to feel too much or too hard to do. Jan is a bubble of kindness, joy and positivity who radiates her love of love. She made my husband and I feel taken care of, calm, and organised during the lead up to our wedding- and included in every step of the way. On our special day Jan arrived in a beautiful dress,with a big smile and an air of positivity. Our guests were all made to feel included, warm and comfortable- happily chatting with her before the ceremony. The ceremony went perfectly and seamlessly and before we knew it we were married. It was perfect in every way. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. I would (and will!) recommend Jan to anyone and everyone. She is amazing.

Where do we begin, Jan was beyond amazing throughout this entire process. Jan knew we 1 had no idea what we were doing and 2 time poor between work, a teenager and toddler. Jan took all the stress and worry out for us made it very clear what we needed to do / complete which pages we needed to pay extra care to. Everyone could not stop speaking about the beautiful service Jan performed on Saturday we thank her dearly.

Jan made us feel very relaxed about the day and helped us navigate our way with ease through the vows and readings and order of the wedding. Jan is an excellent communicator and makes the process of putting together a wedding ceremony fun and easy. She ensured our ceremony was personalised and reflected who we are as a couple, including and changing bits and pieces as we asked for it. We cannot recommend her enough.

Being blind, my situation was a little different than most grooms, but Jan took the time to get to know us, think of creative ways to support me on the day, and made the whole ceremony go off without a hitch - with many laughs and heartfelt tears. Jan is so approachable and friendly but at the same time, also super professional. She was always available when I needed to talk to her and discuss the marriage plans, in fact one of the reasons I chose to go with her was because she instantly replied to my inquiry email even though I had emailed at an odd hour, she always got back to me the same day which made it much easier to communicate. She was very professional and person-centred, gave it enough time to know me and my partner, and put together a beautiful and touching ceremony for us and we never felt rushed through the process, it all felt so natural. We feel she genuinely cares for her clients and wants them to feel special on their big day. Honestly, we could not have found a better celebrant than her. Thanks Jan <3

Jan was absolutely brilliant and I can't recommend her enough, her vast experience as a celebrant was evident from the very beginning. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, from the pre-wedding paperwork, to helpful tips on writing our vows, to creating a custom ceremony that was just for us. Jan was very professional but still so lovely and friendly. We received many compliments about Jan from our guests on our wedding day.

Thank you, thank you, thank you a 1000 times and 5 stars are much too little to express our absolute joy, happiness and thankfulness about our wonderful and just amazing wedding at beautiful Whitehaven beach, which you, Jan, made possible for us! Now we know you for 5 years when we started our wedding plans and (as we are from overseas, Germany) you helped us and supported us always in such a great way even during this hard Corona times which forced us to postpone our wedding 2 times from 2020 now finally to 2022. During all this times we felt us kept in so very good and professional hands and you always gave us hope that despite of all the occurring obstacles our day will finally come…. …and it did and as you always promised us, we really stood on this stunning and beautiful beach with our faces in the sun and we were enjoying your absolutely wonderful and lovely ceremony which was written from you with so much heart and feeling for our personal and „longest wedding story ever“. We loved it soooooooo much;-) You not only made our special day, you gave us an absolute amazing and wonderful start in our new life as now FINALLY husband and wife!!!
