Jan was our celebrant in August 2026. We first found her on Google when looking up celebrants. We had a look at others but for some reason we kept going back to Jan. We finally booked a date to meet up with her to discuss our plans and after that we never looked back. Jan is an amazing celebrant and she made our wedding incredible. From the layout/setup/decorations to the wonderful vows and the ‘Story about Us’. Jan is very professional and gives thorough detail to what needs to be done, so there is absolutely no stress whatsoever with her. All questions answered promptly with kindness and love. Jan was our celebrant on 26.01.2026. She was absolutely wonderful from the get go. Finding a celebrant who in genuinely interested in your relationship proved to be difficult, however Jan made everything so easy. She made our day seamless, and even kept the biggest secret ever from my Husband and our guests of my arrival (via Ridden Horse - Drayhorse Shires). Point cartwright Reserve was recommended to us by Jan & after a 5 hour round trip at 35 weeks pregnant we fell in love and said yes to the location! Jan put together the most amazing ceremony, one that absolutely represented myself and my wife and our lives together. If you are looking for for a celebrant who takes the time to know you as a couple, tailor your day to exactly how you want it to go, super reliable and just a down to earth lovely lady, Jan is absolutely who I recommend for your big day.

From the very first moment we met Jan, it was an immediate yes. She was so warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely invested in us and our story. We chose one of her packages where she handled all the paperwork (which in itself was amazing), but what really stood out was her. She has this beautiful way of holding people, calm, reassuring, and full of heart while still making everything feel simple and stress-free. Her approach to the ceremony was incredible. She guided us to write our stories about each other beforehand, which we then heard for the first time during the ceremony. It was such a meaningful, emotional experience and the storytelling was done so beautifully. You could feel how much she genuinely loved our story and wanted to honour it. Our wedding was an engagement party/surprise wedding, and she totally matched the energy. She got amongst it, hyped everyone up, and carried the room with such warmth and confidence. Even our guests commented on how amazing she was. To top it off, on the day itself we had wild weather forecasts, thunderstorms, giant hail, and we were seriously considering changing the ceremony location at the last minute (which we really didn’t want to do because of the surprise and the beach lookout location we were transporting our guests to on a bus). In the middle of all that stress and uncertainty, she was calm, flexible, and completely up for anything. At one point we half-joked and said, “Worst case, could you marry us on the bus?” And without missing a beat, she was absolutely in. She didn’t just marry us, she shaped the entire feel of our ceremony. It was relaxed, joyful, emotional, and full of love, and so much of that was because of her presence. We are beyond grateful she was part of our wedding. Honestly, don’t even bother looking elsewhere, she’s exceptional and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.

She took our words and her impressions of us the couple of times we met, and turned it into the most personal and meaningful ceremony that we could have imagined. Jan was perfect. She was extremely easy to deal with, made us feel at home and delivered a ceremony that was warm and intimate. She went above and beyond, bringing two witnesses for us who also stood in as our photographer. Couldn’t have asked for anything different.

Jan is a wonderful and caring celebrant, we started organising our ceremony a few months ago and this has been no mean feat with me living in Scotland and my now wife living in Queensland. The time difference was no obstacle. All our wishes were granted by this wedding genie! The ceremony was conducted with the perfect mixture of love, romance and funny moments. Nothing was too much for Jan to accommodate, our personal location was accepted without question, and the seating and arbour was placed in a perfect spot. The paperwork was all organised with such swiftness that the ink was still wet! Jan is a lovely warm human being, who I can tell, puts in as much love to her work, as there is between the couples she is assisting live their lives together. From our initial contact, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating to our needs (including a sudden date change). ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Absolutely thrilled with Jan as our celebrant for our recent elopement. She made us feel like she was so excited for our day and was always so quick to respond to any email queries. Her handbook was so helpful for us to customise our wedding scripts/vows and really helped us understand how the ceremony would flow. She also helped us decide on a location and even went out of her way to visit the location and take photos as we are not local. She is kind, warm, and geninue, and we immediately felt comfortable with Jan on our wedding day. Would happily recommend Jan as a celebrant!
